Spread the word! Find out how to join, and if anyone in your church, college, university or music group - or anywhere else for that matter - might be interested, you can ask us for fliers and information to hand out, or even just pass on our web address.

Audition by sending us a recent recording of two contrasting pieces, or for details of the next Open Weekend.

Membership requirements

Choir - Talented singers, preferably sight singers and used to holding a part.

(More than an) Orchestra - We look for musicians of Grade 8 standard or above on any instrument; our arrangements frequently include drum kit, keyboard, piano, electric or acoustic guitar, church organ, and the list goes on; so don’t feel you have to play a conventional ‘orchestral’ instrument to join us!

You also must be aged under 26, and not younger than 13.

Traditionally we’ve looked for audition ‘tapes’ for people looking to join, but this year we will also be conducting live auditions throughout the country.  For more details on how to apply, email

We have an annual membership fee, with a base rate of £96 per member per year. This covers all food and accommodation at events and goes towards the costs of our music and staff. We offer a hardship fund for those who struggle to meet the costs of membership, as well as discounted rates if more than one member joins from the same family. Also, if you want to come along for one weekend to try it out, you can pay £20 for your first time before paying the membership fee; further events will be charged at £50 a time for non-members.

Whilst the group is a Christian organisation, if you are presently exploring faith and spirituality the weekends are a great opportunity to find out more about the God we follow, and the impact Jesus has on our music making. Email   for further details.
